About Carrom
Welcome to the family of Carrom players.
Carrom is a very interesting indoor game which is thought to have originated from pool billiard about 150 years ago in Indian sub-continent. Carrom can be played by two (in singles) or by four persons (in doubles).
Carrom is a game of skill and requires strategy and concentration coupled with physical and mental fitness.
Asia
Carrom is played by millions of people in Asia, especially in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, Nepal, Malaysia, Singapore, Afghanistan, United Arab Emirate, Japan and Korea.
SAARC Countries Champioships are organised every year, under the auspices of the Asian Carrom Confederation.
Europe
Carrom is played in many countries of Europe such as Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom.
The European Carrom Confederation coordinates the activities of the national federations and allots Euro Cup every year, in rotation.
USA
Carrom is becoming more and more popular in United States of America.
The US Carrom Association conducts National Open Championships annually.
